Rebekah Demary was born February 24, 1754 in Lunenburg, MA, the daughter of John and Rebekah (Corneille) Demary. She came as a child with her parents to Rindge in 1763. Rebekah married May 30, 1771, John Buswell, the son of John Buswell of Boxford, MA. He had purchased previous to their marriage, the farm formerly of Aaron Esty around 1768. There they resided as successful farmers and had fifteen children. Rebekah died April 11, 1824, aged 71 years.
