PEORIA, IL - Dale Eugine Walton, age 60, of Peoria, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

Dale was born on June 14, 1951, in Peoria, Ill., to Howard J. and Leora G. (Dillon) Walton, Jr. He married Elizabeth Ann Clemons on Feb. 16, 1974, in Peoria, Ill.

Dale is survived by his wife, Ann; three brothers, Jimmy Walton of Peoria, Roger Walton of Metamora and Mike Walton of Bradford; two sisters, Cheryl Husky of Peoria and Linda Walton of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Russell Walton.

Dale served in the United States Army.

He retired from Caterpillar after 35 years.

Dale attended Crossroads Baptist Church, and he enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Cremation rites will be accorded and burial will be at a later date.
