Jay Pritchard, 52, of Windfall died Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Marion, Alabama as the result of an industrial accident. He was born in Tipton County on September 22, 1959 to Jerry and Lou (Nance) Pritchard. Jay also lived in North Augusta, South Carolina from 1984 - 1997. On December 3, 1983 he married Cindy Feeler and she survives.

Jay was a member of the Windfall Christian Church. He started working for Fire Brick Engineers Company in 1997 and was recently promoted to field superintendent. Jay also enjoyed going to NASCAR races, playing golf, and fishing. He was a Ford Mustang enthusiast. Jay took a great deal of pride in spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Cindy, two daughters, Codie Ann Dowell and husband Dustin, Tipton, and Janice Rose Pritchard at home. He is also survived by his mother Lou Lee of Tipton; one sister Amy Miller of Indianapolis; aunt Judy Pritchard Young and family of Niles Michigan; cousins Gale and Joan Barr and family of Windfall, along with many more aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31 at Windfall Christian Church with Rev Garritt Stryker presiding. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Windfall. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton and from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Memorial donations may be made to the Janice Rose Pritchard College Scholarship Fund at Key Bank, 221 W Main St, Greentown, Indiana, 46936.
