Army Pfc. Henson was assigned to 1st Squadron, 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Polk, Louisiana. Henson was killed when his convoy was ambushed in Dwaniyan, Iraq. When Clayton graduated from high school, he was looking for a path in life to follow. Then September 11 happened and he knew what direction life was going to take him. He joined the Army, served his year in Iraq and was suppose to come home on April 16 when his tour was extended for three months. Clayton who was an avid skier, always had a strong sense of duty. He always felt that serving in the Army was his way of making a positive contribution to the world – he once said that if somebody doesn't do something about this, who's going to.
