Born September 2, 1966, in Mexico City, he was the son of Bruno and Florence Ontiveros Estrada.

Gabriel was employed in quality control at Indiana Packers.

Surviving are sons, Gabriel Estrada and Edgar Estrada, both of Dowagiac, Michigan, a daughter, Maira (Roy) De La Cruz, Battle Creek, Mich; brothers, Adelfo (Adelina) Estrada, Converse, Ind., Marco Antonio Estrada, Lafayette, and Jose B. "Bruno" Estrada, Logansport; sister, Margarita Estrada, Logansport.

Three grandchildren survive, Yesenia, Xavier and Hector.
