When Thomas Green Barron Sr. was born in 1786 in Jones, Georgia, his father, William, was 18 and his mother, Joanna, was 16. He married Sally Clay on March 12, 1805, in Greene, Georgia. He then married Naomi Clark and they had 15 children together. He died on August 26, 1836, in Pike, Mississippi, at the age of 50.
