Marketing innovator. First woman featured on the cover of Business Week. Author of motivational articles on positive thinking, many of which were published in a 1957 book entitled Best Wishes (Orlando: Podium Publishing Company). Refined the home party method of selling houseware products which resulted in great success for the Tupperware line of plastic containers. Brownie Wise was the head of Tupperware Home Parties, Inc. from 1951 to 1958 until she was dismissed by Earl Silas Tupper (1907-1983). Divorced from Robert Wise in 1941.
