DUCHESNE~ Jessica Constance Day "Connie" Robbins, age 87, died January 9, 2000 at Roosevelt hospital.

She was born September 14, 1912 in Kings Heath, Birmingham, England to Walter and Elsie Wright Day. She married Arnold Blanchard Robbins July 20,

1929 in Price. Connie collected dolls and had a doll show each year. She enjoyed gardening and writing poetry, loved to sing and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by children and spouses, Norita and Del Wiegand, Denver, CO; Ronald R. and Ernitta Robbins, Kitty and John Manning, Richard and Joy Robbins, all of Duchesne; 13 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by a brother, Samuel Robert Gunter, St. George; and sister, Elsie Ruth Hart, Portland, OR. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carmelita; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Wallace Day; and sisters, Josephine Gunter Tricky and Louise Bean.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2000, 11 a.m. at the Duchesne LDS 1st and 3rd Ward Chapel. Burial in the Strawberry Cemetery under direction of the Hullinger-Olpin Mortuary.
