She was born Dec. 24, 1934, in Gaston County to the late Silas and Ella Mae Headen Buchanan.
Pauline formerly worked at Firestone Mill. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and was known later in life for her bead ministry.
Pauline was a witness and testimony to everyone she met. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a friend to all.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sisk-Butler Funeral Home Chapel, Bessemer City, with the Revs. James Lochridge, Wayne Philbeck and Kevin Kellough officiating.
Interment will follow at Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her son, the Rev. Jeff Mauney and wife Priscilla, David Paul Mauney Jr. and wife Lou all of Kings Mountain; brother, William Buchanan of Valdosta, Ga.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Randy Mauney; six brothers and sisters.
