Funeral services for Mr. F. A. Puckett, Jr. of Houston, Texas, a former resident of Magee, were conducted from the Mims Mitchell Chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, with Rev. R. C. Bounds officiating, assisted by Rev. Billy Thames. Burial followed in Pine Grove cemetery with Mims Mitchell Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Puckett, 52, died suddenly in Houston, Texas, March 24 as a result of an accident. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at a hospital. He was a native of Simpson County and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by 2 brothers, Louie Puckett of Magee and Richard Puckett of Weathersby; 3 sisters, Mrs. C. A. Ainsworth, Oak Grove, La.; Mrs. W. E. Waters, Mendenhall, and Mrs. Willie McIntosh of Magee.
