Jean Klein, age 86, entered the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 22, 2000. She was born October 9, 1913, in Arlington, Wa. ninth of twelve children born to Paul Tanis and Katie Otter Tanis.

She lived in Arlington, Cicero, Getchell Hill and Everett, as a child.

January 26, 1934, she married Albert "Bart" Klein in Everett, Washington.

She lived her adult life in the Marysville-Arlington Area.

She and her husband, Bart, were dairy farmers, until the late 1960's when the state took 20 acres to build the overpass thus creating the north lake of Twin Lakes.

Jean devoted her life to her family as housewife and role model.

Preceded her in death are her husband, Albert Payne Klein, her mother, father, three sisters, six brothers and two half brothers.

She leaves behind two brothers and one sister, Paul and Ed Tanis and Carolyn Stensrud all of Snohomish County, Washington two daughters Jeannette Schultz of Arlington and Shirley Stitch of Everett. Two grandchildren Ronald (Gene) and wife virginia Schultz of Arlington; Lynnette and husband Alan Korfanta of Arlington.. Five great grandchildren Tinamarie Jean Schultz, Stephanie Renee Korfanta, Jamie Jean Schultz, Joshua Alan Korfanta, Ronald Albert (Bart) Schultz, all of Arlington
