Bonnie Jamison Forbes, 61, of 338 Lauren Kay Lane, Covington, died Monday, November 17, 2008 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Mrs. Forbes was born April 20, 1947 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Warner C. and Virginia Martin Jamison.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin W. Forbes in 2006.

She was a former employee of Lear Corp. in Covington.

Mrs. Forbes was also a member of Calvary Christian Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Tammy and Scott Campbell of Roanoke; three sons: Harold R. Duncan Jr. of Covington; Galvin S. Campbell and Martin W. Campbell, both of Roanoke; two sisters: Sandra and Ray Lewis of Apex, NC; Wanda and Mickey Jones of Raleigh, NC; a brother, Warner C. and Angela Jamison III of Wake Forest, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Warren officiating. The interment will follow at Alleghany Memorial Park.

Friends may pay their respects any time at Arritt Funeral Home. The family will receive their friends Thursday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at the Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia.
