Melanie Lynn Edwards 30 years of age died after a short illness at Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch on December 12, 2003. Melanie was a native of Concord, CA and was employed at State Farm Insurance as an office manager. She was a member of the Delta Community Church of God in Oakley and enjoyed arts and crafts. Melanie is survived by her husband, Ric Edwards; children: Daniel, David, Jenna and Joel Edwards, all of Oakley; parents, Lannie Phillips of Antioch and Mary Morales of Antioch; and brother, Michael Phillips of Antioch. Nieces and nephews also survive.
