ADA MELSTER BELCHER FREEMAN, 88, of 300 Freedom Drive, Walhalla, SC, wife of the late Solon Edward Freeman, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Cottingham Hospice House.

A native of Grundy, VA, Mrs. Freeman was the daughter of the late Richard Epp and Martha Potter Belcher. She was a member of Stateline Pentecostal Church in Stateline, VA.

Mrs. Freeman is survived by sons, Ernest Freeman (Linda) of Lawton, OK, Robert Freeman (Eula) of Mouthcard, KY, Cecil Freeman (Kathy) of Mouthcard, KY and Danny Freeman of Cayce, SC; daughters':, Judy Westmoreland of Walhalla, SC, BuReda Akers (Joe) of Raven, VA. Vontilla Deel (David) of Mouthcard, KY, Paulette White (John) of Davenport, VA, and Diannia Griffith (Jeff) of Walhalla, SC; one living brother, twenty eight grandchildren, forty four great-grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Freeman was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela Freeman, and great grandsons, Phillip Kinman and Ryan May.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 23, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Grundy Funeral Home Chapel in Grundy, VA with burial to follow at Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Va.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 3:00-4:00 P.M. at Grundy Funeral Home, prior to the service.
