Ray Halbert, 69, of Youngstown, Ohio, died in a hospital there Thursday, April 4. He was born July 29, 1893, at Munday, a son of the late Daniel B. and Sarah Wyer Halbert, and was a veteran of World War I. He was a retired driller.
Survivors nclude his wife, Mrs. Ruby Hayhurst Halbert, two sons, Milton R. of Silver Spring, Md., and Roger E., of Youngstown; a sister, Mrs. George Hettick, Parkersburg; four grandchildren.
Services were conducted Sundany afteroon at the E.U.B. Church at Munday, with the Rev. Wade Simons officiating. Burial followed in the Wolverton Cemetery.
