MRS. PIERCE MONTGOMERY DEAD
After ten days of flue followed by pneumonia, Mrs. Elizabeth, wife of Pierce Montgomery, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Shaw, at 8 a. m., Wednesday, Feb. 18th. Mrs. Montgomery was 73 years of age. Her maiden name was Leatherman. She had lived in and about Shelbina the greater part of her life. She leaves besides her husband, Pierce Montgomery, one child, a daughter, Mrs. John Shaw. Robert Leatherman, living north of Hunnewell, is a brother. Her funeral was held at the home of John Shaw and wife, 2 miles east of town, Thursday p. m., and her burial was in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.

MRS. PIERCE MONTGOMERY
Mrs. Pierce Montgomery died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Shaw, east of town, Tuesday night, after a ten days illness of pneumonia and influenza. Mrs. Montgomery's maiden name was Elizabeth Leatherman. She was seventy-three years old, and leaves her husband, Pierce Montgomery and one daughter, Mrs. John Shaw, and a brother, Robert Leatherman, of near Hunnewell.
Funeral services were conducted at the Shaw residence Thursday afternoon by Rev. J. H. Stidham, and burial was in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
