William Ambrose "Dub" Bass, of Lacy Lakeview, died June 5, 2006, at his residence. He was 72.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Helen Brock and the Rev. Cynthia Lee officiating. Burial was in Waco Memorial Park.
Mr. Bass was born June 17, 1933, in Whitesboro to the late Hugh Bradley and Sara (Mauldin) Bass. He was a service technician for Airfre Filter Service for 19 years, retiring in 1986. He was a member of Elm Mott and Lacy Lakeview United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Bass of Lacy Lakeview; daughters, Sally French of Osage and Tammy Bass of Houston; Brad Bass of Plainview and Tommy Bass of Waco; and seven grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to Elm Mott and Lacy Lakeview United Methodist Church.
