Orvel M. Dailey, 72, died Monday at home. Born in Adams County, he retired from Geneva Manufacturing.
Surviving are his wife, Dora May; five sons, Gary of Chesapeake Bay, Va., Jay and Gene, both of Berne and Jim and Darrell, both of Geneva; a stepson, Larry Tumbleson of Dayton, Ohio; two daughters, Margie Teboe of Monroe and Rose Ellenberger of Berne; two brothers, Dwight of Geneva and Donald of Berne; eight sisters, Mamie Wendell, Deloris Sprunger, Naomi Rigby and Edna Hunt all of Berne; Treva Yost and Marcella Sipe, both of Geneva, Betty Pugh of Portland, and Esther Young of Bryant; 13 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three step-great grandchildren.
Services at 11 am Friday at Haggard & Armes Funeral Home, Decatur. Calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Thursday, with a Moose Lodge Memorial Service at 8:45 pm. Burial in Decatur Cemetery.
