A MILITARY FUNERAL

M. Cull, veteran of the Civil War and early settler, whose death was mentioned in these columns last week, was buried in the Catholic Cemetery, last Friday morning with military honors.

Member of the Chandler Post of the American Legion, served as escort of honor and firing squad.

Veteran Cull was laid to rest clothed in the uniform of blue which he loved so well and which represented the cause for which he fought in the days of 1861 and 1865.

Rev. Father Shaffer, who said mass and preached the funeral sermon, is himself a veteran, having served in the World War.
