Louise Monk was born in England.
Although I've been unable to find a marriage record, Louise had one child with William Cooper of Illinois, prior to her marriage to Michele Barbado (Barbato). This child appears with them in 1920, 1930, and 1940 as Michele's daughter (not stepdaughter):
1-Lucille Harriet Cooper, b. 1910, Detour, Chippewa, MI USA (m. 20 Dec 1930 to Kenneth W Christenson in Sault Ste. Marie; however, she appears with her parents in 1930 with maiden name yet married).
Louise indicated in 1940 US Census that she was the mother of four (4) children, two being George (b. 1917 MI) and Domnick (b. 1932 MI).

Louise died in 1952 in Sault Ste. Marie, Chippewa, MI and is buried at Pine Grove Cemetery there.
