Virginia C. Wood Huff, 87, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born February 25, 1925 in Slaterville, Utah to Luciaon and Erma Stratton Critchlow. She was raised on Pole Patch Hill in Pleasant View and graduated from Bonneville High School.

On May 7, 1942, Virginia married Jack Oliver Wood in Ogden, Utah. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1961. In May of 1966, she married Charles Allen Huff. He preceded her in death in October of 1970.

She was a member of the LDS Church where she served as Primary secretary, Primary teacher, Cub Scout leader and a visiting teacher.

Virginia worked at St. Benedict's Hospital as an LPN for 19 years. She also worked for Heritage Park Care Center and Dr. Dale Tribe, DDS.

She enjoyed taking care of others, sewing, cooking and holiday dinners with family. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids.

Virginia is survived by her children, Brent and Pamela Wood, Plain City; Kevin and Brenda Wood, Roy; Janice and David Perry, Layton; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Dale Critchlow, Idaho; Bud and Martha Critchlow, Tooele; Allen Critchlow, North Ogden; Robert Critchlow, Ogden; two sisters, Betty Clark, South Weber; and Sharon Critchlow, Hooper.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, a son, Kenneth Wood, a grandson, Travis Wood, two brothers and her parents.

Funeral services will be held Monday March 19th at 12 noon at the Roy 16th Ward Chapel, 4524 South 2525 West. The family will meet with friends at the church from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Interment, Plain City Cemetery.
