Mrs. Grant Hurt Dead
Operation Failed to Be of Benefit to Her.
Funeral Services will be Held in the Methodist Church at 2:30 Tomorrow Afternoon–Wife of the Register of Deeds.
Mrs. Grant R. Hurt died at 4:30 o’clock this morning in a local hospital where she was taken Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. The services will be conducted by Rev. J.R.McFadden, the pastor. Interment will be made in Elmwood cemetery, where her parents and a sister are buried.
Mrs. Hurt was born in Ohio in 1860. Her maiden name was Clara Merita Marquand. She was married here to Mr. Hurt, now register of deeds for the county. They have one son, Travis.
The immediate relatives, besides her husband and son, are Mrs. Minnie Lindsay and Mrs. Harry Larrick, sisters of this city; Mrs. A.E.? Hostetter of Kansas City, a sister, and a brother, W.B.Marquand of this city. Mrs. Hostetter has been here since Sunday.
