Dale R. Gore, Sr. Kimball Dale Roger Gore Sr., 56, of Kimball died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in Port Huron Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born August 11, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. He married Marlene Middleton on April 27, 1979 in Detroit. Dale was a job setter for over 20 years. He served in the United States Army. Dale enjoyed horse shoes, lawn golf, crossword puzzles, playing cards, bowling, getting together with family and friends, his grandchildren and family reunions. He is survived by his wife Marlene of 32 years; his children, Teynona (John) Christenson, Dale Gore Jr., Diana (Tom) Henderson, Cathy Gore and Michael Gore; 16 grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda "Sue" (James) Klenke, Sandy (John) Stos; one brother, Duane (Sharon) Gore; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Columbus and Dorothy Gore; his step-father, Marvin Falk; and his brother, Ronald Gore. Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in Smith Family Funeral Home-North. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 in Smith Family Funeral Home-North, 1525 Hancock Street, Port Huron. Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball.
