Okey married Leon C. Andrews married on 22 Mar 1902. Leon graduated from a business school in Williamsport in 1899 and started working as a stenographer. He was rooming in the home of Jasper Furman when he met Okey.
Okey and Leon had three children: Carl, Mildred and John. Okey was only 26 when she died in 1907. Her body was carried on the Buffalo Flyer from Lock Haven to Powell for burial.
Leon was left with three small children and married second Bessie P. Curns in 1908. They returned to Powell in 1909 and Leon helped his father and grandfather manage the family farm.
