On February 16, 1940, she married the Wondel Smith, Sr., who passed away September 22, 2011.
Mae was a member of the Bay Ridge Baptist Church in Seminole FL. She graduated from Guyan Valley High School and attended Marshall University and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her

Wondel (Lenore) Smith, Jr., Clearwater Beach, FL;
2 Brothers:
Sidney (Ruth) Atkins, Branchland, WV, and
William "Bill" Atkins, Hamlin, WV; a
Sister:
Myrtle Hanna, Detroit, MI;
7 Grandchildren: Andrea, Stephen, Teresa, Michael, Troy, April, and Chris; and
6 Great Grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her
