He was married to Magdelena Eby who preceded him in death 8 years ago. This union was blessed with 3 children (George, Stewart, and Margaret) who, with 4 brothers and 2 sisters of the deceased survive to mourn their loss.
Funeral services were held at the home and at the Sharon Mennonite Church with Bro M H Schmitt and Bro B B Weber in charge. The body was laid to rest in adjoining cemetery.
