Mr. Ashton Reedy Seigler, 82, of Mockingbird Lane, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Revs. Louise Anderson and Carl Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Seigler, a lifelong resident of Aiken, had retired as a pipe fitter from Daniels Construction and was a member of Flees Organization and Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Berty Gregory Seigler; two sons, Melvin Seigler and Carroll Seigler, both of Aiken; two daughters, Geraldine Daugherty and Brenda Jeffords, both of Aiken; two brothers, Otis Seigler, Tucson, Ariz., and Bradus Seigler, Aiken; two sisters, Agnes Key, Aiken, and Anices Lorrick, Freeport, La.; and nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Edward Gregory, Everette Gregory, Allan Gregory, Eddie Seigler, Wyn Seigler and Donald Seigler.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Shiloh Baptist Church.
