MRS. AL TUNGATE

An unusually large concourse including many friends from Cicero and Oso, attended the funeral of Mrs. Al Tungate held last Friday at 2 p. m. from the Congregational Church, Rev. J. R. Sester officiating. There service was marked by profuse floral tributes and evident sorrow on the part of relatives and friends at the untimely death of this respected young matron. Following the service interment took place in the Arlington Cemetery under direction of A. H. Moll.

Maud Tungate (nee Cole) was born on the Jackson farm, near Arlington, June 22, 1890; died at the Everett General Hospital March 10, 1926, aged 35 years, eight months and 18 days. she was married to Al Tungate in 1908 and survived by her husband and four children, aged 17, 16, 9 and 8 years; also by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Cole of this place; two brothers, John Cole of Cicero and William Cole of Hoquiam; two sisters, Mrs. Fletcher Earnheart of Redmond and Mrs. Miles Howell of Hoquiam; also by an aunt, Mrs. Cynthia Jackson. A brother, Russell Cole, was drowned March 11, 1921.
