Brittney Ann Wilson, 21, of Big Piney, passed away at her home on Monday, March 19, 2012 due to heart failure.

Brittney was born Feb. 5, 1991 in Powell to Robert and Leslie Brause.

Brittney graduated from Big Piney High School in 2009. She attended Great Basin College in Elko, Nev. where she met her husband, Logan Wilson, and in June of 2011, Brittney and Logan were married at Boulder Lake Lodge in Boulder, Wyo. Brittney gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Elizabeth Ann Wilson, her pride and joy, on Christmas Eve 2011.

At the time of her death, Brittney was enrolled at Stevens-Henager College where she was completing an online program in business management. She recently accepted employment working with children in the after-school program at the Big Piney Elementary School.

Brittney had a genuine love for life and a deep love for children. Her passion showed through her daughter, Elizabeth. Brittney's limitations due to her heart did not stop her from living a happy and full life. She was always involved in something new, including Girl Scouts, college summer programs, school plays or reading a good book. She enjoyed crafts and spent every November at the Craft Bazaar in Big Piney helping her grandpa sell knives. She recently started a home-based business of her own, making bows for children. Brittney loved to travel to visit family and friends.

Brittney is survived by her husband, Logan and daughter, Elizabeth Ann; parents, Robert and Leslie Brause of Big Piney; sister, Blake Brause of Big Piney; aunts and uncles, Dawn Alexander of Big Piney; Ernie and Jill Alexander of Scotts Valley, Calif., Charity Brause of Elko, Nev. and Tracey and Larry Stevens of Kaysville, Utah; father-in-law, Danny Wilson of Fallon, Nev.; sister-in-law, Morgan Wilson of Reno, Nev.; brother-in-law, Seth Wilson of Sacramento, Calif.; grandparents, Darrel Alexander of Ten Sleep, Cliff and Dixie Carnes of Pavillion, Bill and Jackie Brause of Kingman, Ariz. and Eugene and Margaret Simeroth of Sheridan, Calif. and numerous cousins and extended family who will miss her greatly.
