We always knew him as Ed (they were Uncle Ed and Aunt Marie). He and his sister Marion were close as siblings.

He lived at Dividend, Utah from at least 1930 to at least 1940. He worked first as a laborer at the mine and then as a truck driver.

He fought in both WWI and WWII, where he was stationed mostly in Europe (Germany and Italy).

After returning to Utah, he worked at Dugway Proving Grounds for many years.

He married Beaulah Marie Mason on 2 Feb 1959 in Elko, Nevada. Marie, had married John Thomas Campbell in 1926 and had 5 children with him before they were divorced. Edward and Marie didn't have any other children.

He wanted to join the army in WWI, but since he was too young, he said that he was born in 1900 (just 7 months after his older brother was born). He continued to use this birth year for the rest of his life, as most of his work involved the government.

He was admitted to the VA hospital in Salt Lake City with a staph infection in his arm, where he died from the infection.
