"In Whitesville. N. Y., Dec. 24, 1890, at the home of his son, Ransome [sic] Fish, Lewis B. Fish, in the 84th year of his age.
He was a soldier in the late war, and a member of the 52d Regiment New York Volunteers. He has left seven children."
