Seaborn A. Anglin married on July 17, 1860 in GA Martha Elizabeth Thornhill (b 1832).

On August 13, 1861 he enlisted as a private in Co F 16th Regiment Georgia Volunteer Infantry at Monroe, GA. Company F was organized at Walton County, GA by Capt J H D McRae. Anglin was captured at South Mountain (Maryland)on Sept 13 1862 and confined at Fort Delaware Prison until Oct 2 1862 when exchanged. Captured 2nd at Cedar Creek, Va. October 19,1864. Paroled at Point Lookout, Md. and transferred to Aiken's Landing, Va. for exchange March 28,1865. Received at Boulware & Coxs Wharves, James River, Va., March 30,1865.

He is listed on the 1900 census with spouse Rachel A Vaughn.
