An aged resident of the Swedesburg vicinity, Mr. Andrew Erickson, passed away at his home yesterday at the age of eighty-three. The funeral arrangements have not been made.

Anders (Andrew) Magnus Erickson was born Sept. 5, 1831 in Kisa, Ostergotland, Sweden, the son of Lars Erickson and Sara Lena Magnusdotter. He emigrated May 29, 1857 and settled in Henry County, Iowa.
