Edna Berberich, 90, of Yankton, died Friday (March 17, 1995) at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Menominee, Neb., with the Rev. Christopher Grimmond officiating. Burial is in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Yankton.
Pallbearers are Phillip Dohn, Duane Potts, Tom Moore, Jerome Mueller, Roderick Goeden and Jerry Kuehn.
Visitation is 5 to 9 p.m. today (Monday) with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. and a scripture service at 8 p.m., all at the Kostel Funeral Home, Yankton.
She was born Sept. 1, 1904, to Fred and Isabel (Kaiser) Anderson in Mission Hill. She worked in Janousek Studio in Yankton for 10 years before marrying Francis Berberich on June 20, 1932, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yankton. They farmed all of their married life in Nebraska.
She was a member of the St. Boniface Parish and Christian Mothers' Organization (of which she once held the president's position), and was active in the Yankton Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include: a son, Joseph A., Volin; a daughter, Mary E. Klimczyk, Seattle, Wash., and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and three sisters.
