Fred Junge
FORSYTH, MT. --- Fred L. Junge, a patient at the Veterans Hospital in Sheridan, WY., for several months died there Wednesday.
He had lived in Forsyth since 1952.
He was born June 18, 1888, in Leola, S.D.
He came to Rosebud, MT., in 1914 with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Junge.
During World War I he was in the Army.
He returned to Rosebud, then he worked in mines in Pennsylvania after 1921.
He returned to the Rosebud area in 1948.
He married Myrna Harris on May 15, 1929, in Waynesburg, PA.
Survivors include the widow of Forsyth; three sons, Arleigh Junge and Paul Junge both of Forsyth, MT., and Lyle Junge of Washington, PA.; three daughters, Velma dee Deyell of Washington, Mrs. Ruth Wilson of Billings, MT., and Sarah Mae Urban od San Antonio, TX.; Two stepsons, Floyd Hughes of California, and Allen Harris of Billings; 24 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Larson of Forsyth, Mrs. Barbara Johnson of Wisconsin and Mrs. Florence Olfson of Tacoma, WA.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Beals Mortuary with the Rev. Floyd Woodard of First Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Forsyth Cemetery, Forsyth, MT.
