The body of the 13-year-old was found at 6:50 am behind a bank in St. Charles, near the side entrance to Lindenwood University. She was decapitated & her head was found nearby on campus. Apparently, she went to hang out with some older friends that night. A sheet that had been used to transport her head from the murder scene to an area behind the campus was found by police in a pond. Due to the pattern on the sheet, they cleaned it up & put it on the news to see if anyone could identify it. The roommate of a Lindenwood student realized it was his roommate's sheets!
They then went searching for Lindenwood student, Jason Shipman, who had convinently dropped out of the university the morning of the killing & his 15 year old friend. They both admitted their guilt in this crime. Their reasons for doing it are still not completely known.
There were varies stories. Tiffany had dated the 15 year old & he told her if he broke up with him, he would kill her. Also the rumor that Shipman had seen the play Macbeth that the Lindenwood Theater group were putting on. (Macbeth looses his head at the end) I was in that production! It is very scary that I entertained that guy. They stabbed, raped, and killed her. Decapition was an "afterthought" according to her murderers.
