BEAVERTOWN - Adelaide Jane Fultz, 71, of Beavertown, passed away 10:35 p.m. Feb. 9, 2009, at the Manor at Penn Village, where she had been a resident for the past 11 years.
She was born on Oct. 24, 1937, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late Jesse Theodore and Mary J. (Ritter) Loudenslager. On April 6, 1955, she married the late Donald Gale Fultz Sr., who passed away Feb. 27, 2006.
Earlier in life, she attended Baker's United Methodist Church, McClure.
She had worked at Susquehanna University and the former Snook's Restaurant as a cook, and earlier in life she had worked at the former Davis Manufacturing as a seamstress.
She loved baking, cooking swimming, shopping and going to the Veteran Memorial Pool, McClure.
She loved to go to the Veteran Memorial Pool, McClure.
She is survived by: two daughters and their spouses, Sharon and Dale Ertley, of McClure, and Lisa D. Fultz and her companion, Kathy McClure, of Lewistown; three sons, Donald and Cheryl Fultz, of McClure, Scott and Belinda Fultz, of Beaver Springs, Tim Fultz, of McClure; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Maryann Quay, of State College; and a brother, William Loudenslager, of Milroy.
She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Brent Fultz; a sister, Gwendolyn Joy Erb; and two brothers, Thomas and Jesse Loudenslager.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday Feb. 14, at Black Oak Ridge Cemetery, McClure, with the Rev. Clark Kelsey officiating.
