Salt Lake Tribune, The (UT) - March 4, 1993. Deceased Name: Grace R. Mann Ashton. BOUNTIFUL--Grace R. Mann Ashton, 96, died Monday, March 1, 1993. She was born July 11, 1896 in Bountiful, the daughter of Nelson H. and Annie Russell Ritchie.

She married Orvis I. Mann, November 1, 1939, in the Salt Lake Temple. He died August 11, 1949. She married Wilford Ashton August 11, 1972. He died September 9, 1982. She had worked in the pharmacy at the LDS Hospital. As a member of the LDS Church, she taught the Gospel Doctrine class for many years. She served a mission in the Central States.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Grace) Mitchell, West Bountiful; Mrs. William E. (Peggy) Morrison, Kaysville; 14 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren. She was the last of 12 children. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Layton, 250 No. Fairfield Rd., Layton, Utah, where friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment in the Bountiful Cemetery.
