His retirement was dedicated to golf and family; he spent most of it indulging and entertaining his granddaughters after his morning golf game.
He is preceded in death by his mother Anna Mae McGregor, his father Ralph McGregor and four siblings: Lois Niemiller, Charles McGregor, Paul McGregor and Donald McGregor.
He is survived by his wife, Dereatha Nadine McGregor; his daughter and son-in-law, Jami and Randy Warren; his two granddaughters; Brooke Cline and Ashley Murzyn and their husbands; three great-grandchildren, Andrew and Lily Cline and Ava Murzyn and his brother Douglas McGregor and sister Mary Ellen Null.
