THE DEATH OF WARREN J DICKS
Warren J Dicks, of 8942 US 52 South, Monroe, died November 18, in his home. A former resident of Clark’s Hill, he was born June 4, 1935, in Warren County, but was raised in Colburn. He attended Colburn and Buck Creek schools, and he had lived most of his life in the Lafayette area. He was employed 37 years i the extrusion department at Alcoa. He was a member of the Alcoa 25-year Club. He was married April 14, 1953, in Kohoka, Missouri, to Carman Pattengale, and she survives with two daughters, Mrs Donald (Debra) Allen-Zink of Crawfordsville and Mrs Tim (Jetta) Tharp of Green Hill; four sons, Ricky J Dicks of Oakley, Brian K Dicks and Jeffrey O Dicks of Asheboro, NC., and Warren J Dicks, at home; his mother, Estella Kiger of Colburn; two sisters, Juanita Pattengale of Colburn and Ruby Stevens of Nashville, Indiana; and a brother John A Dicks of Cutler. Service Nov 21 in Horn Funeral Hone, Delphi, the Rev Dr Carl Malmgren officiating. Interment Monroe Cemetery. ( Lafayette, Indiana, Journal and courier, Nov 19, 1990)
