Eva Louise (Summerson) Robbins, 87, of Williamsport, died on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009 at the Williamsport Hospital.

Eva was born on Jan. 3, 1922 in Renovo and was the daughter of the late Allen Graham and Louise Amanda (Graw) Summerson.

She was a former employee of Swift Co., Williamsport Textile and K-Mart Corporation. She was a member of the U.S. Navy WAVES during WWII. Eva was a former member of the Church of Christ, South Williamsport and a member of the First Baptist Church, Williamsport. She had volunteered for many years at nursing homes, Divine Providence Hospital and St. Anthony's.

Eva is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Rob R. and Rita Robbins of Centennial, Colo.; three grandchildren, Clayton Robbins and his wife Alyssa, Nathan Robbins and Luke Robbins, all of Centennial, Colo; one great-grandson, Garrett Robbins of Centennial, Colo.; one brother, Frank Summerson of Weedville; one sister, Bonnie Mansfield of Tulsa, Okla.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Luther and Walter Summerson; and one sister, Laura Roman.

There will be a public viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 at the Allen and Redmond Funeral Home, 331 Elmira St., Williamsport with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
