Born August 29, 1950, in Baltimore, Md., a daughter of the late Harry and Dorothy (Greenholtz) Boidy.
She was the owner of Deb Lowry Real Estate School. She was past president of the Real Estate Association of York and Adams County, where she had been a recipient of their Distinguished Service Award.
Mrs. Lowry is survived by a daughter, Amanda L. Stiles and her husband, James of York; two sons, Richard A. Lowry, Jr. and his wife, Deborah of York, and Rhett B. Lowry of York; seven grandchildren, Brannigan, Cooper, Lexa, and Delaney Stiles, and Olivia, Daniel, and Grace Lowry; a brother, Harry Boidy, Jr. of Westminster, Md.; and a sister, Kathleen Rahilly of York. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Patrick Boidy.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 S. George St., York (the former Hahn Home), with The Rev. John McCloskey, Pastor of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, Dallastown, officiating. Visitation will be 8:30 to 10 a.m.
Private burial will be in Grace United Church of Christ Cemetery, Taneytown, Md.
