Marvin Louis Montgomery, 50, of 111 View St., Martinsville, died this morning at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. He was a native of Carroll County, born July 25, 1931, to Thomas Wyatt Montgomery and the late Daisy Newman Montgomery, he was retired from Southwestern Virginia Gas Co. with 25 years of service. Surviving in addition to his father, of the Commonwealth Health Care Center, are a son, Donnie Louis Montgomery of Hampton; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Reva Gover of Bassett and Mrs. Naomi Moore of Hillsville, and a brother, Thomas D. Montgomery of Newton Falls, Ohio. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Stone Funeral Home is in charge.
