Mrs.Nina Haggerty,76 of Worcester,New York died Wednesday,May 30,1973 at the home of her son in Rochester after a long illness.Funeral services were June 1 at The First Presbyterian Church,Worchester.with Rev James R.Lee,pastor,officiating.Burial is at Maple Grove Cemetery,Worchester
Mrs haggerty was born Dec 27,1896 in Johnstown,the daughter of John and Fannie Hill Johns.She graduated from Albany State Teachers College in 1918 and was a commercial teacher at Greenport,L.I. and Oneida.
She was married to Gordon Haggerty on Sept 20,1924 in Johnstown.Mr haggerty preceded her in death in 1962.She had lived in Worcester since 1928,moving to the village from Saranac Lake.
She was a memberof the First Presbyterian Church,Worchester,the Womens Organization of the church,and the Fortnightly Club,Worcester.
Surviving are a son ,Dr.Robert Haggerty,Rochester;four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
