Mrs. Baxie Mildred Lancaster, 94, of McCrory, died Monday at Woodruff County Nursing Home. Formerly of Newport, she was a member of Elgin Missionary Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Lancaster, a daughter and two sons.
Survivors include two sons, Hershel Lancaster of Newport and Billy Lancaster of Salt Lake City, Utah; three daughters, Nadine Anderson and Doris Musser, both of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Carolyn Webb of Mountain Home; a sister, Grace Davis of Tujunga, Calif.; 28 grandchildren and a number of great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services have been scheduled for 2 Friday afternoon at Gracelawn Cemetery at Tuckerman, under the direction of Dillinger Funeral Home of Newport.
Visitation will be from 2 in the afternoon until 9 in the evening Thursday at the funeral home.
