Funeral services for Mrs. Josie Sayers Allison, 75, widow of J. Allison, who passed away Wednesday at the local hospital, were held this afternoon at the home in Draper's Valley with burial in the family cemetery. Mrs. Allison, widely known and prominently connected in this section, was a native of the county, being the daughter of William Sayers and Sarah Jane Sloan The deceased is survived by three sons W. S. Allison, Of Draper's valley; John C., and J Abner Allison, in addition to four daughters: Mrs. John Gannaway, Miss Carrie Allison, Mrs. Robert Orr and Mrs. Elizabeth Allison. Pall bearers included: Walter Allison, Brooks Pratt, Lou Pratt, Eddie Allison, Thomas Gannaway and Robert Orr, jr.
