MRS. HILLFERDING DIES, TEACHER FOR 32 YEARS.
mrs. Anna T. Hillferding, 70, of Belpre, Rt.1, died following an extended illness.
She was born in Dunham Township in Washington County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Mark and Mary Welch Burnfield, and spent her entire life in the area.
She was a life-long member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church at Vincent, Ohio. She was a teacher in the Barlow-Vincent schools for 32 years.
Survivors include her husband, Grover; one sister Mrs. Gertrude Hall of Vincent, Rt. 1 and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, William Burnfield and one sister, Mrs. Agnes Flaherty.
