Sudie Crider Carter, 66, of 192 North Circle Dr, Orangeburg, died Friday, June 24, 2011, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday, June 27, in the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg. Pastor Freeman Thomas will officiate. Thompson Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Carter was born June 15, 1945, in Bamberg County, a daughter of the late Thomas C. Crider and the late Ellen Johnson Crider. She was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church. She was employed with Orangeburg Surgical.

She was predeceased by family members, Robert Bob Crider, Vonetta Blake and Lib Widener. Survivors are her loving daughter, Suzanne; grandchildren, Gregory (Kelli) and Danielle (TJ) Listemann; great granddaughter, Kayleigh Listemann; and, two sisters, Joanne Walker and twin sister Susan (Glenn) Jeffcoat.

Friends may call at the residence of Glenn and Susan Jeffcoat, 192 North Circle Dr, Orangeburg. The visitation will be from 6-8pm Sunday, June 26, at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg.
