Iain Bell, resident of Owasso, passed away Friday, May 20, 2011 at the age of 44.

He was born October 25, 1966 in Glasgow, Scotland to James and Doris (Currie) Bell. The family moved to Tulsa from Scotland in 1976, and it was here that he continued his education, graduating from East Central High School.

While in high school and following graduation, Iain attended Tulsa Technology and received his certificate as an aviation mechanic. At the time of his death, he was employed with American Airlines for 25 years. On June 7, 1985, Iain and Pam Westover were united in marriage in Tulsa. To this union two sons were born. In 1998, Iain also received his United States Citizenship.

An avid sports fan, Iain enjoyed coaching his boys sports including baseball, football and ice hockey. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast, and loved rebuilding motorcycles.
