Kyle Hunter Hudson died August 6,1994 following a lengthy illness which he fought with great courage and dignity. He is survived by his partner, Don Hill of Oklahoma City; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Hudson of Oklahoma City; a sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew, Beth, Tony, Mary Taylor and William Bennett Robinson of Durant; a sister, brother-in-law and nephew and Godson, Sydney, Richard and Mark Hunter Long of Durant; a sister, Amy of Oklahoma City; his maternal grandmother, Grace Tidwell of Muskogee; an aunt, Patti Hudson of Oklahoma City; an aunt, Julianne Hudson Downs of Alexandria, Va.; his Godmothers, Helen Cox of Oklahoma City and Patsy Winsor of Fayetteville, Ar.; and many close friends. He was born Oct. 9, 1967 in Ada. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Coalgate. He attended school in Coalgate, where he participated in band, football, basketball and Honor Society. He was a finalist in the National History Day Scholastic Competition in Washington, D.C. He attended Oklahoma State University and the University of Oklahoma. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business from the University of Central Oklahoma. While in school, he worked as a waiter at Harry Bear's and the Oklahoma County Line.

He studied computer graphics at Metrotech and had begun work as a freelance graphic artist. He was a vocalist and was skilled at cartoon art and graphic design. He was extensively involved in helping friends design and produce musical productions. He was known as a strong, dynamic, compassionate individual who met life with dedication, commitment and style. He was devoted to his family and they to him. The family will receive friends at Guardian West Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday evening. There will be a private service. Friends are invited to a committal service at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Wednesday, August 10, 1994 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Winds House, P.O. Box 12185, Oklahoma City, Ok. 73157
